“…Early phase of this model is attributed to release of bradykinin, histamine, serotonin, and prostaglandins synthesis in surroundings of damaged tissue. The late phase is sustained by prostaglandins release and mediated by leukotrienes, bradykinin, and polymorphonuclear cells [23][24][25] . The anti-inflammatory data (Table 2) indicate that carrageenan-induced edema is significantly inhibited by tested compounds in late phase.…”

“…It is reported that the amine-and thione-substituted triazoles, derived by the condensation of the derivatives of 1,2,4-triazine and the aldehyde or ketone, exhibited a strong affinity to some metal ions, such as Cu(II), Zn(II), Pb(II), Cr(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II) and Fe(II) [11,15,20]. When the ligands reacted with metal ions in aqueous solutions, its thione functional group rearranged to form thiol, thus allowing the bidentate coordination to metal ions through S and N atom to form a stable five-membered ring while releasing H ions into aqueous solutions [20][21][22][23]. The powerful affinity of S and N atoms to transition metal ions rendered a potential application of these compounds in modulating the surface of sulfide minerals.…”

“…Many metal complexes with transition metals as center ions show excellent antibacterial and antitumor activities, such as Cu(II) [1][2][3], Zn(II) [4][5][6], Mn(II) [7][8][9], Ni(II) [10][11][12], Ag(I) [13][14][15], and so on. Meanwhile, hydrazone compounds also exhibit good biological activities and are a kind of good ligand [16][17][18].…”

“…The investigations of the synthesis and properties of Ca(II) complexes have always been one of our goals [19][20][21][22][23][24][25]. In this work, we synthesized a novel eight-coordinated dinuclear Ca(II) complex, [Ca 2 (L) 2 (H 2 O) 10 ]·H 2 O (1), by the reaction of 3-pyridinecarboxylic hydrazide, disodium 4-formylbenzene-1,3-disulfonate, and Ca(ClO 4 ) 2 ·4H 2 O. Complex 1 was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum, 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, and single crystal X-ray crystallography.…”
