Synthesis, Characterization and Antitumour Activity of Diorganotin (IV) Complexes Containing Silicon of 2-Mercaptobenzothiazole

Abstract

C NMR, IR, elemental analysis and X-ray single-crystal study. The results showed that ligand L acts as thiol tautomerism coordinating with tin atom, and thus the central tin atom was six coordinated in distorted octahedral geometry. The preliminary bioassay tests showed that diorganotin complexes of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole have a good antitumor activity in vitro against A-549.
