Abstract:Background: Curcumin, chemically difeluroyl methane is a yellow polyphenol isolated from the rhizomes of perennial herb Curcuma longa. It has been shown highly cytotoxic towards various cancer cell lines but its water insolubility and instability make its bioavailability exceedingly low.
