Synthesis BaFe12O19 based on natural iron sand with Cu and Ni doping using coprecipitation method

Abstract: Synthesis of BaFe12O19 based on natural iron sand with Cu and Ni doping using the coprecipitation method has been done. This research was conductedat the Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mataram University. The synthesis was carried out through the variation of doping ions and calcination temperature. The concentration of doping ion used is x = 0.0; 0.4; 0.8; and 1.0 with variations in calcination temperature of 200, 600, and 1000 0C. The materials used are BaCO3, Fe3O4, CuSO4, … Show more

“…Indonesia is a country with abundant natural resources, one of which is natural iron sand (Susilawati et al, 2021). Iron sand is a source of natural magnetic material that can be obtained along the coastline (Elinda et al, 2022;Rahmawati et al, 2013;. Lombok Island has a coastline of 2,333 km, this certainly makes Lombok Island's iron sand a potential for development, one of which is at the Tebing Beach of North Lombok .…”

“…The difference in the sand is spread throughout the island, starting from the dark in the northern part of the island, to white in the southern part (Doyan et al, 2020). Coastal sand is often found in the coastal area of the island, but its processing is still rarely used in the field of infrastructure development because it has the characteristics of grains that are fine and rounded, have a large grain, and contain salt (Elinda et al, 2022).…”
