Abstract:The spirocyclic oxazinoquinolinespirohexadienone (OSHD) "photochromes" are computationally predicted to be an attractive target as electron deficient analogues of the perimidinespirohexadienone (PSHD) photochromes, for eventual application as photochromic photooxidants.
