Abstract:Molybdenum I 5600 Synthesis and Structural Characterization of a Novel Type of Heteropolyanion: [Sb4Mo12(OH)6O48] 10-. -The novel antimony substituted polyoxomolybdate (III) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with Z = 4 (single crystal XRD). The [Sb4Mo12(OH)6O48] 10anion exhibits a central Sb4(OH)6O14 core where all Sb V atoms are coordinated octahedrally by six oxygen atoms.
