Synthesis and Spectral Characterization of Some Transition Metal Complexes Containing Pentadentate SNNNS Donor Heterocyclic Schiff Base Ligands

Abstract: A new Schiff base, 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(3-methylsulfhydryl-4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole) (DPMAMT) is designed and synthesized by the condensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with 3-methylsulfhydryl-4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole, and structurally characterized.
