This work presents four complexes with general formula [{(ArO) 2 PS 2 } 3 Bi] (1-4), where Ar = 2,4-(CH 3 ) 2 C 6 H 3 , 2,5-(CH 3 ) 2 C 6 H 3 , 3,4-(CH 3 ) 2 C 6 H 3 and 3,5-(CH 3 ) 2 (4) has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic P2 1 /c space group and Bi(III) centre is surrounded by six sulfur atoms from three symmetrically chelating bidentate diphenyl dithiophosphate ligands in a distorted octahedron environment. Screening these complexes for their antifungal activity against Pencillium chrysogenum gave positive results.
