In most cases, metal‐ion interactions have been studied with receptors including monosubstituted ferrocenyl and symmetrically disubstituted ferrocenyl fragments, and the unsymmetrically difunctionalized ferrocenyl systems have received comparatively less focus . UV/Vis binding‐interaction studies were performed with receptors 6 and 7 in ethanol (10 –5 m ) with cations such as of Na + , K + , Mg 2+ , Ba 2+ , Mn 2+ , Fe 2+ , Co 2+ , Ni 2+ Cu 2+ , Zn 2+ , Cd 2+ , Hg 2+ , and Pb 2+ as perchlorate salts.…”
