Synthesis and Properties of a Polymer‐Modified Material for Thin Spray‐On Liners in Mine Roadways

Abstract: In order to adapt to dry and wet environment in mine roadways and improve the performance of sealing materials under different environmental conditions, this study selected the materials based on their ability to spray and found that the materials with a viscosity of 1500–6000 MPa·s can achieve a balance between performance of spray and wall-hanging performance. Next, by selecting high-elastic polyacrylate emulsion and ordinary Portland cement as the film-forming agent and gel, respectively, mix proportion fac… Show more

“…In this experiment, VAE, SAE, and PVA were selected to modify the cement-based TSL, and three TSLs were obtained, namely VTSL, STSL, and PTSL. This experiment was a continuation of the existing research, and the following ratios were obtained from the existing literature [19][20][21]. The water-cement ratio (W/C) was set to 50%.…”

“…As can be seen in Figure 5, the STSL surface was guilty of a light blue color, the VTSL was light gray, and the PTSL appeared to have a higher viscosity. existing literature [19][20][21]. The water-cement ratio (W/C) was set to 50%.…”
