“…Besides the difficulties in achieving sample homogeneity for multinary oxides, control of oxygen content in mixed-valent systems requires some synthetic skill when the ceramic method is used, and often several steps, involving a controlled gas atmosphere to optimize the oxidation state of manganese, are necessary . Other synthesis methods that have been adopted for the manganites include the sol−gel , and coprecipitation , methods, but these typically involve a final firing or annealing step at high temperature and thus cannot be considered to be true low-temperature synthesis methods. The size of a single manganite is usually in micrometers, and the shape is often ill-shaped by the methods mentioned above.…”

“…Apparently, T P2 should near T C2 , which is confirmed by the temperature dependences of magnetic moment curves later. With increasing ZnO dopant, T C2 decreased, resulting from increasing thickness of the grain boundary and diluting the magnetic ions of the grain boundary, which prevents the FM couple of LCMO grains [25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32] in the end. So with increasing ZnO concentration, T P2 decreased greatly and T P1 change slightly for the higher ZnO dopant.…”

“…A number of synthesis techniques such as solid state synthesis [10], sol-gel synthesis [9], polymeric-precursor method [11], citrate gel synthesis [12] and co-precipitation synthesis [13] have been reported in the literature for the preparation of bulk/nano alkaline earth substituted lanthanum manganites like La 0.67 Ca 0.33 MnO 3 . Previous investigations on La 0.67 Ca 0.33 Mn 0.9 V 0.1 O 3 used the solid state [5,10] technique and the sol-gel technique [9].…”
