“…The following bands were observed in the NS structures: NH/OH stretching vibrations at 3275 cm −1 , asymmetrical CH stretching vibrations at 2925 cm −1 , CO stretching vibrations at 1648 cm −1 , NHCO stretching vibrations at 1530 cm −1 , CH 2 bending vibrations at 1446 cm −1 (aromatic group of TDI), CN stretching vibrations at 1220 cm −1 , and COC stretching vibrations at 1152 cm −1 . The isocyanate peak was not observed in the FTIR spectra of the NSs.…”

“…The isocyanate peak was not observed in the FTIR spectra of the NSs. This indicates that (different from NSs produced using HMDI under the same conditions) all of the NCO groups reacted with the OH groups, the condensation reaction completed, and the polyurethane polymer was formed . A decrease in all of the peak intensities was observed due to the adsorption of p ‐NP parallel to the NS surface.…”

“…They can be incorporated into different items such as paints, liquid coatings, elastomers, insulators, elastic fibres, foams and integral skins [6]. Currently polyurethanes are one of the most common, versatile and researched materials in the world [7]. These materials combine the durability and toughness of metals with the elasticity of rubber, making them to suitably replace metal, plastics and rubber in several engineered products [8].…”

“…Most polysaccharides are obtained from plants, animals, and microorganisms (Qu, Liu, & Zhang, 2014;Vu, Chen, Crawford, & Ivanova, 2009;Zia, Anjum, Zuber, Mujahid, & Jamil, 2014). However, the preparation methods often involve lots of prophase work, such as material choice, extraction, isolation, purification to obtain target products while polysaccharides yield rates are low.…”
