Abstract: Background: Inflammation is a series of complex defense-related reactions. The inflammation cascade produces various pro-inflammatory mediators. Unregulated production of these pro-inflammatory mediators can lead to a wide range of diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, sepsis, and inflammatory bowel disease.
