Abstract:In this study a series of N‐(4‐methoxy‐2‐nitrophenyl)‐β‐alanine derivatives were prepared, characterized by the NMR and IR spectroscopic and microanalysis techniques and evaluated for their antibacterial potency against Gram‐positive Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes bacteria strains as well Gram‐negative Escherichia coli and Salmonella enteritidis.
