Abstract: The study aims to scrutinise and compare the chemical modifications present in copper-substituted hydroxyapatite utilising FT-IR spectroscopy. The synthesis of both HAp and Cu-modified HAp was conducted via the chemical precipitation method, involving specific chemicals like ammonium hydroxide (HN4OH) solution, diammonium hydrogen phosphate ((NH4)2HPO4), copper chloride hexahydrate (CuCl2.6H2O), and calcium nitrate tetrahydrate (Ca(NO3)2.4H2O).
