Synthesis and characterization of sodium‐carboxymethylcellulose from cotton, powder, microcrystalline and nanocellulose

Abstract: Cotton cellulose, powder cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose and nanocellulose were carboxymethylated with monochloroacetic acid by the suspension method in an ethyl alcohol medium.
