Abstract:Thin films of () nanoparticles were synthesized using thermal evaporation method. They were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and absorption and transmission spectra. XRD results show that these films are of amorphous nature, while SEM images show nanoparticles with average particle size around 30 nm. No significant changes are observed in morphology of the deposited films by changing concentrations of Te and Ge. The optical behaviors of these films have been studied… Show more
“…radiation dosimetry. Recently, in this context many well known materials have been investigated using C 6+ , Li 3+ and Ag 12+ ions and found to possess promising properties for dosimetry of heavy charged particles [15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]. In the same context, the present work, describes the carbon and 60 Co induced thermoluminescence properties of Li 2 BaP 2 O 7 :Dy samples.…”

“…The produced charge carriers are subsequently delivered to their appropriate electrodes via the solar cell's transporting layers. Finally, they are removed and used to generate current in an external circuit [26][27][28][29][30][31][32] .…”
“…Nano structured films obtained by assembling atomic clusters are of strategic importance for a wide variety of applications [1,2]. Recently, nano-structured thin films are prepared and studied for their structural, optical and electrical properties [19][20][21][22][23]. Formation of small clusters has been noticed [23] in Se − T e thin films.…”
First principle calculations have been performed to study the characteristic properties of SenTen (n=5-10) clusters. Present study reveals that the properties of these small clusters are consistent with the properties...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
