“…Li et al successfully synthesized Ba(Mg 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 modified BKT ceramic with a low P max of 28 μC/cm 2 . Based on this, the recently investigated BKT-based ceramics exhibit poor energy storage properties ( P max < 40 μC/cm 2 , W rec < 3 J/cm 3 , η < 70% and BDS <300 kV/cm). Interestingly, near the morphotropic phase boundary, the ceramic exhibits more polarizable directions and a low Landau free energy, implying improved piezoelectric, dielectric, and polarization characteristics. Bi 0.5 K 0.5 TiO 3 - x BiFeO 3 (0.4 ≤ x ≤ 0.43) ceramics at MPB are therefore anticipated to have high P max .…”

“…[18,19] However, the BCT30 can form solid solutions with Ba(Ti 0.8 Zr 0.2 )O 3 and high piezoelectric properties as high as 620 pC N À1 were reported near a rhombohedral (R)-tetragonal (T) morphotropic phase boundary. [20] As a kind of dielectric capacitor, piezoelectric ceramics used for energy storage devices have received a lot of attention, such as BNLT-BSrT, [21] BF-BT-BZN, [22] KBT-BT [23] Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 , [24,25] and (K 0.5 Na 0.5 )NbO 3 . [26,27] The recoverable electric energy storage density W rec can be estimated from their polarization-electric field (P-E) hysteresis loops by using the expression W rec ¼ ∫ P max P r EdP.…”
