Synthesis and characterization of a new dimeric polyoxometalate based on Anderson-type polyoxoanions and a trinuclear lanthanide coordination complex

Abstract: An unusual compound, H 5 [(C 6 NO 2 H 4 ) 4 (H 2 O) 15 Nd 3 ][IMo 6 O 24 ] 2 Á 13.5H 2 O (1) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and single crystal X-ray diffraction.
