Synthesis and characterization of a ZnGa2O4:Cr3+-based aerogel

Abstract: A ZnGa2O4:Cr3+-based aerogel was prepared by using polyacrylic acid (PAA) as a dispersant and propylene oxide (PO) as a crosslinking agent via CO2 supercritical drying.

“…Similar to other PersL phosphor materials, the luminescence started with a quick drop in intensity, followed by a slower decay, suggesting there are two components contributing to the afterglow. [55][56][57][58] A bi-exponential fitting was also conducted on the PersL decay curve following the equation,…”

“…Similar to other PersL phosphor materials, the luminescence started with a quick drop in intensity, followed by a slower decay, suggesting there are two components contributing to the afterglow. 55–58 A bi-exponential fitting was also conducted on the PersL decay curve following the equation, where I ( t ) is the luminescence intensity at time t , τ 1 and τ 2 are the fast and slow decay component of the PersL decay curve, A 1 and A 2 are the corresponding amplitudes of the decay. The fitting results are summarized in the inset of Fig.…”

“…[7] ZnGa 2 O 4 is also an AB 2 O 4 spinel-type crystal structure, has received extensive attention from researchers as a good luminescent material matrix, and shows various emission colors when doped with different transition metal ions or rare-earth ions, such as Cr 3+ . [24][25][26][27] Furthermore, the correlation between microwave dielectric properties, changes in the crystal structure, and cation distribution of Cr-doped ZnGa 2 O 4 have been systematically investigated. [28] Besides, pure and In-doped ZnGa 2 O 4 has been reported for its promising photo-induced applications.…”
