Abstract:A hybrid monomer on 4-(N-maleimidophenylester) hydroxypropylmethacrylate (MPEHPM) possessing both maleimide and methacrylate groups has been synthesized from 4-N-carboxyphenylmaleimide (CPMI) and glycidylmethacrylate (GMA) in the presence of triethylbenzylamonium chloride (TEBAC) as a catalyst.
