Abstract:The ligand of Cyanoguanidine showed an important coordination formula with Ni2+ to give a complex of tetrahedral geometrical shape [Ni(CY)2Cl2] when the metal reacted with Cyanoguanidine of 1:2 ratio, and octahedral complexes of the types [Ni(CY)2(PPh3)2Cl2], [Ni(CY)2)(PPh3)4]Cl2 and [Ni(CY)2(diphos)2]Cl2 (where CY= Cyanoguanidine and diphos = dppm, dppe, dppp, dppb), since the structure depends on the conditions and type of the compounds involved in reaction.
The prepared complexes were characterized by… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
