Synthesis and characterisation of new silicon–perfluoropropenyl compounds

Abstract

Novel, stable silicon–pentafluoropropane compounds have been synthesised from the direct reaction of hydrofluorocarbons Z-CFHCFCF3 (Z-HFC-1225ye) with nBuLi, followed by appropriate silicon-halide.
