Syntheses, Structures and Characterization of Four Metal-Organic Frameworks constructed by 2,2′,6,6′-Tetramethoxy-4,4′-biphenyldicarboxylic Acid

Abstract: Four metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), {[Mn 3.5 L(OH) (HCOO) 4 (DMF)]·H 2 O} (1), {[In 2.5 L 2 O(OH) 1.5 (H 2 O) 2 ]·DMF·CH 3 CN· 2H 2 O} (2), {[Pb 4 L 3 O(DMA)]·CH 3 CN} (3), and {[LaL(NO 3 )(DMF) 2 ]· 2H 2 O} (4) were synthesized by utilizing the ligand 2,2Ј,6,6Ј-tetramethoxy-4,4Ј-biphenyldicarboxylic acid (H 2 L) via solvothermal methods.
