The Cd atom, located on an inversion centre, is hexacoordinated by two Schiff base ligands in an octahedral coordination through the phenolate O atom, the imine N atom and the hydroxy O atoms. In the crystal, molecules are linked through intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the b axis.
