Syntheses, Crystal Structure and Fluorescence Properties of a Cd (Ⅱ) coordination polymer based on pyridinium zwitterionic ligand

Abstract: With pyridinium zwitterionic ligand H2LCl2 (1,1'-((2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-1,4-phenylene)bis(methylene))bis(4-carboxypyridin-1-ium)chloride) as the main connection point, a novel Cd (Ⅱ) coordination polymer namely [Cd(L)2(SO4)2(H2O)2][Cd(H2O)6]·4H2O (CP 1) and a partially deprotonated HLClO4·H2O were obtained by room temperature volatilization method.
