Abstract: Butadiene/ethene/propene terpolymers are synthesized by Ziegler-Natta polymerization with the catalyst system VO(O-neopentyl)2C1/Al(i-Bu)3 in toluene at -10 "C. Variation of the amounts of propene and ethene leads to products with propene contents between 5 and 30 mol-% (referring to monomeric unit) in the polymer. These polymers are terpolymers with alternating units of butadiene-ethene and butadiene-propene sequences as shown by means of nuclear magnetic resonance investigations. The degree of crystallinity … Show more

“…Furthermore, terpolymers including Terpolymerization of olefins using metallocene catalysts, [1][2][3][4][5] supported Ziegler-Natta catalysts, 6 longer aliphatic 1-olefins or block-terpolymers served as model compounds for LLDPE. 5,8 Howor vanadium complexes 7 has been reported by several authors. Different monomers have been ever, with these catalytic systems it was not possiused in terpolymerization with ethene and proble to incorporate vinylaromatic comonomers.…”
