Syntaxonomy of Charophyte Algal Communities in the Northeastern Part of the Black Sea (Russia)

Abstract:Within the northeastern part of the Black Sea, the vegetation of charophytes was studied using the Braun-Blanquet approach. For the first time, five communities are described, including three associations and two subassociations from the alliance Charion canescentis Krausch 1964, the order Charetalia intermediae Sauer 1937, and the class Charetea intermediae F.
