Synovial plica, lateral impingement and intra-articular impingement/entrapment pathologies of the temporomandibular joint

Abstract: Synovial plicae are common findings in most knees and extremity joints. However, plicae of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) have not been adequately addressed.
