“…As a new material, MPN has the advantages of convenient materials and simple assembly. Because it has the functions of inhibiting microbial growth, scavenging free radicals and blocking ultraviolet rays, it has great development potential in the field of the food industry ( Jia, Ma, Hu, & Mo, 2023 ).…”

“…Existing computational methods for building coessentiality networks depend largely on the Pearson correlation, which are not suitable for distinguishing direct/indirect associations among compounds and lead to false-positive edges in the biological network . Gaussian graphical models compute partial correlations and provide a unique advantage by automatically removing indirect associations in the network compared with Pearson correlation networks, thereby reducing false-positive rates and generating high-confidence sets of presumptive interactions for subsequent validation. , A debiased sparse partial correlation algorithm as a Gaussian graphical model technique was applied to model a network revealing connectivity patterns and correlations between lipid molecules and cortisol (Figure A). Nodes represent various lipid molecules and edges represent the association between lipid molecules and cortisol in a debiased sparse partial correlation network.…”

“…As illustrated by Figure i, the pocket of trypsin activity was flanked by glutamate residues, which contained two carboxyl groups. Due to the electronegativity of the O in the carboxyl group, electron cloud was delocalized at the carbonyl, hydroxyl, and ether bonds and transferred to the ester and carboxyl groups, which endowed the glutamate residues with electron-absorbing properties. , The inducible effect between the junction of the metabolite and glutamic acid residues on the outside of the pocket of trypsin activity resulted in the shift of the sides in pocket toward the junction of the metabolite.…”
