Synergy Between AI and Robotics: A Comprehensive Integration

Stephanie Ness,
Nicki James Shepherd,
Teo Rong Xuan

Abstract: The emergence of artificial intelligence is mostly linked to software-driven robotic systems, including mobile robots, unmanned aerial aircraft, and, to a growing extent, semi-autonomous automobiles. Nevertheless, the significant disparity between the algorithmic realm and the physical realm hinders current systems from achieving the desired outcome of creating intelligent and user-friendly robots that can effectively engage with and manipulate our human-centric environment. The nascent field of machine intell… Show more

“…Latency is one of the main concerns of robotics developers as it greatly limits robots. However, it is a reliable mobile network that can make it possible to introduce artificial intelligence into robots, so the robot will navigate much better in space and carry out any activity without special programming (Ness et al, 2023). In general, the development of robotics as an industry is influenced by the telecommunications sector, since the availability of the Internet, the number of cellular subscribers, etc.…”

“…These algorithms also perform predictive analysis, allowing security experts to anticipate and avoid security breaches before they occur. This shift in AI practices has led to a surge in popularity in areas like natural language processing [1].…”

“…AI appliances offer new opportunities for reliable connections and secure net-work monitoring, but they also raise concerns about cybercrime. Cybercriminals often exploit the modularity of AI to create fear in the automatic industry by using techniques designed to keep the system invincible [1]. The modularity of AI can be exploited, and the operationalization can be tailored to threats, destruction, and risk rather than security, safety, and thriving situations.…”

“…[11]. Other kinds of AI perform different optimizations, including those of design and production of goods, telecommunications [12] and traffic [13], sensing [14], aerospace [15] but also basically all branches of engineering [16][17][18], industry [19], customer services [20], banking and finance [21] including the stock market [22], but also cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology [23], education [24], robotics [25], military [26] and, obviously, scientific research [27]. It appears that practically no area of humanity is left entirely without AI.…”
