Synergistic Effect on Extraction of Nickel and Cobalt from Synthetic Sulfate Solution Using DEHPA and CYANEX 272 as Extractants

Abstract: The aim of this work is to assess the synergistic effect of the DEHPA and Cyanex272 mixture on extraction percentage of the nickel and cobalt from synthetic solution, which contain manganese, magnesium, calcium and copper. The synergistic solvent extraction systems used in this work are Cyanex 272/DEPHA in different ratios mixtures, with a fixed total extractant concentration of 20%vol.
