Abstract: Background: Curcumin, principal constituent extracted from dried rhizomes of Curcuma longa L. is a hydrophobic polyphenol meant to cure chronic malignancies like rheumatoid arthritis, Alzheimer’s, Inflammatory bowel disease and many common ailments related to colon, lung, stomach and skin.
