Synergistic Action of Antibodies: Demonstration of Circulating Leukocyte Isoantibodies After Skin Transplantation in Rats and Rabbits With a Subagglutinating Dose of Heteroantibodies

Abstract: This report describes a method for demonstrating anti-leukocyte antibodies based on the synergistic action of two antibody systems.lS2 In this test, which is also suitable for leukocyte typing, donor leukocytes are agglutinated by the joint action of two different antibodies, an isoantibody and a heteroantibody, each in a subagglutinating titer.
