PAM, a water‐soluble polymer, is a polymerization product of acrylamide, often required in small quantities to obtain the desired effects in contrast to the other types of soil‐amendments applied in bulk similar to that of fertilizers (Barvenik, 1994; Sojka et al., 2007; Wang et al., 2019).
