“…The extraordinary increase in thermal conductivity for SiR and S‐Al 2 O 3 /SiR composites by the incorporation of small amounts of GNSs may be attributed to the following reasons: first, the dispersed graphite nanoflakes have high aspect ratio, that is, over 100, so that they can overlap and contact with one another and form the heat conducting pathway effectively at small loadings of GNSs; second, there may be a synergetic effect for hybrid filler systems. Various synergetic effects on the mechanical, antioxidant, thermal, and even electrical properties of composites have been reported . Synergism is defined as the interaction of multiple elements in a system to produce an effect different from or greater than the sum of their individual effects.…”

“…In terms of recycling WPTFE, there are currently three main recycling methods: physical smashing , radiation degradation and pyrolysis . Radiation degradation and pyrolysis show the advantage of high conversion and no constraints for WPTFE, but these methods have complex technology and relatively high equipment requirements, leading to higher investment.…”

“…There are many large-scale irradiation facilities and research laboratories worldwide where high-energy radiation is extensively used for various purposes (Chmielewski et al, 2014;Dubey et al, 2006Dubey et al, , 2013. In all such radiation applications, radiation dosimetry is mandatory because precise and easy measurements of radiation doses are essential for obtaining products with desired properties.…”

“…Al Zahrany et al (2011) used polyvinyl butyral (PVB) films dyed with MR as radiation dosimeters, while Barakat et al used MR-doped poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) in such applications (Barakat et al, 2001;Russo et al, 2002a). Although the results were promising, the used procedures of the dosimeter manufacturing were complex and involved solvents (Ajji, 2006;Al Zahrany et al, 2011;Dubey et al, 2011Dubey et al, , 2012Dubey et al, , 2013McLaughlin, 2003;Meiner et al, 2004;Russo et al, 2002b;Tu et al, 2009;Whittaker, 1993;Whittaker et al, 1997).…”
