Synchronization of Two Asymmetric Exciters in a Vibrating System

Abstract: We investigate synchronization of two asymmetric exciters in a vibrating system. Using the modified average method of small parameters, we deduce the non-dimensional coupling differential equations of the two exciters (NDDETE). By using the condition of existence for the zero solutions of the NDDETE, the condition of implementing synchronization is deduced: the torque of frequency capture is equal to or greater than the difference in the output electromagnetic torque between the two motors. Using the Routh-Hur… Show more

“…What should be included into the general or whole qualities? From the point of view of broad sense, it includes functions and performances, as shown in Figure 1, and about 13 points, which are so called 13 characteristics: (1) reliability of system; (2) securities of manipulator and machine; (3) harmlessness to environment; (4) working durability; (5) artistic figure; (6) running stability; (7) practicality of working efficiency; (8) superiority of index; (9) easiness of control; (10) techniques of manufacturing; (11) standardization of structure and parts; (12) cycle of producing; (13) economy of product including economy of designing, using and manufacturing, etc.. All the demands of quality mentioned above are important, and can be summarized into three aspects as following: (1) performances of structure, including security, reliability, durability and esthetical figure, (2) performances of working, including practical efficiency, stable running and superior index, (3) performances of manufacturing, including more advanced techniques, shorter cycle of producing, lower costs, etc.…”

“…So, in the paper, a method based on functional optimum design, dynamic optimum design, intelligent design and visual design, i.e. (1+3+X)synthesized designing method [9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16] [ [38][39][40][41][42][43][44][45], is proposed to develop the new products, renovate the old products and even to build the manufacturing base, so that the demands of whole product qualities and synthesized technical performances may be met furthest, and so would with the all kinds of requirements of customers.…”

“…In addition, Wen adopted the average method of small parameters to obtain the selfsynchronization conditions and stability conditions of 1 School of Mechanical Engineering, Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu, China vibration machinery, which further perfects the synchronization theory in vibration mechanical systems. 8,9 In recent years, more and more important achievements related to synchronization in mechanical systems have been revealed. Some scholars also considered the synchronization of mechanical system as frequency grasping among vibrators.…”

“…According to the vibration trajectory, they are classified into circle, linear and balance elliptic trajectory vibrating screen. In order to achieve linear or balance elliptic trajectory, vibrating screen was generally assembled two exciting motors with reverse rotation and same speed [1][2][3][4][5][6]. However, when the screening area is smaller, the percentage of mass of two motors in vibrating screen is bigger, and the cost proportion of motors is higher.…”
