Abstract:BACKGROUND:
Patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) experience a variety of physical, cognitive, and affective symptoms. However, the evolution of symptoms, especially during the 3- to 12-month convalescence period (when recovery of function is still possible), is understudied.
OBJECTIVE:
This study aims to identify symptoms and the relationships with functional outcomes that occur during the 3- to 12-month period after a TBI.
