Symptom profiles and postural control after concussion in female artistic athletes

Background and Study Aim. Negative changes in the socio-economic environment in the territory of martial law (Ukraine) have a great impact on the ability to continue the training process for athletes. To a lesser extent, this affects experienced world-class athletes who have the opportunity to continue training in other countries. As for young athletes, they are closely connected with their family. This fact reduces the possibility of their preparation. The purpose of the work is to develop the coordination abilities of taekwondo fighters aged 13-14 under martial law Material and methods. The study involved young taekwondo players from Ukraine (n=8, age - 13-14 years old), compactly living in the same area. A survey was conducted among experienced trainers (n=10), who had the opportunity to answer the questionnaire through electronic means of communication ( similar to the Likert scale.) Parents gave their consent to the participation of their children in the experiment. Participants were given homework in the form of exercises to develop the ability to maintain balance. The participants performed the Romberg test on the left and right leg with visual control, without control and Yarotsky's test. Participants conducted tests during a specially organized ZOOM video conference. This study was conducted by the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the Ethics Committee of University. All participants were aware during the informed consent process that the results of this study may be published. Results. According to the coaches, the most important qualities for taekwondo athletes are speed and coordination. Among the coordination abilities trainers note as the most important the following: the sense of rhythm, the sense of time and distance, balance and vestibular stamina. Equilibrium indicators on an unstable support (Romberg test) have undergone significant positive changes (at p˂0.05). Although the Yarotsky test indicators had positive improvements, they did not have significant differences (at p˃0.05). Conclusions. When declaring martial law, it is recommended to pay special attention to the life safety of participants in the education and training process. It is also recommended to use exercises on an unstable support, which are in the nature of imitation percussion and protective actions. This approach leads to a tangible improvement in the balance of young athletes.

Background and Study Aim. To determine the influence of the level of static balance on the competitive activity of athletes aged 17-21 in beach volleyball. Material and Methods. The study involved athletes aged 17-21 years, who play beach volleyball in the Kherson region. The research was focused on the main indicators: the total number of serves, passes, tactical strikes, blocks, and how the development of static balance affects the level of their performance. Results. Acrobatic exercises in training activities for special physical training positively contributed to the increase in the samples of Bondarevsky (p <0.05), Romberg (p <0.05) and Yarotsky (p <0.05). Samples with different nature of the work performed reflect different aspects of static equilibrium: samples of Bondarevsky and Yarotsky most reflect the nature of the work performed during the competitive activities of athletes; Romberg's test only partially corresponds to these indicators. Conclusions. The proposed methodological approach significantly affects the performance of competitive activities and is directly related to the quality of tactical strikes, high-level performance in defense and the number of serves. The results of the study indicate the difference in samples with different nature of the work. Overstrain of the vestibular centers can negatively affect the quality of tactical strikes in the attack and blocking.

For video art, the coupling of digital technology and postmodernist thinking has brought not only technical progress and formal transformation but also a new mode of thinking and way of living around visual experience and even a change in the whole world view. The digitalization of the image not only lies in the change of the surface form, but also it has evolved into a supermedium, connecting the real world and the virtual world, becoming a new way and means for us to grasp the world, which can be considered a huge transformation. However, while digitalization has brought great development to video art, it has also confused many issues that need to be further explored, especially the inevitable transformation in creation. This paper takes digital video art as the main object of study and explores the crisis of representation and the problem of transformation that has arisen in it, with reference to “technology,” “form,” “concept,” and even “social and cultural life.” We also analyze, summarize, and conclude the transformation of video art and its creation rules in the digital context and propose corresponding creation strategies, taking “technology,” “form,” “concept,” and even “social and cultural life“ as the starting point. For the detection of a small area, a star structure can be used to achieve a flexible arrangement of each sensor while satisfying the real-time performance. For the collection of information in a large monitoring area, if a star structure is used, the nodes are overloaded with low reliability and low utilization of communication lines. The wireless data acquisition system uses the relatively scalable UCB telosb hardware platform, while the hardware platform uses an operating system with good portability, which can give full play to the hardware performance of the platform and effectively reduce the power consumption of the system. Based on the current art trend, this paper discusses the transformation of video art in the digital background from the perspective of “technology” and “concept” and proposes corresponding creation strategies to provide theoretical to practical support for digital video art creation practice and bring some inspiration to creators. It will also bring some inspiration to the creators. Cluster analysis is used to effectively improve the introduced algorithm, and the simulation results show that the improved algorithm can reasonably plan each sensor node in the region while reducing the number of sensors, so that the effectiveness of each sensor node can be well utilized.
