Switching of a laser emission spectrum by an external optical signal

Abstract

Use of a grating cooled to 90 K reduces the background noise on a Ge: Cu photoconductive detector. The NEP measured at 12 p m is 2 x 10-l2 W. Spectra of heavily doped polymers of an average transmittance of lO-3 have been measured.
