Sustaining Agricultural Growth: Traps of Socio–Demographics in Emerging Markets

The agricultural sector is a role model that can be the basis for policymakers to integrate Islamic insurance patterns in agriculture. This research aims to design a model of the Islamic agricultural insurance system based on Islamic law in the context of Indonesia. This study is expected to contribute for Indonesian government to accommodate the implementation of the Islamic agricultural insurance system and pattern in Indonesia. This study used an expert system approach through data collection and information as a reference in the formulation of model designs, including interviews, questionnaires, direct observation, and data synthesis in the field. This research stage used a systems development conceptual model described in the research process, including planning, analysis, design, verification, validation, and building models. The research hypothesis is confirmed that Islamic agricultural insurance can be implemented based on risk and investment with tabarru’ funds (mutual financial aid funds) and investment funds. Islamic agricultural insurance is a way out for farmers, especially Muslim farmers, in ensuring agriculture management by managing the level of risk due to crop failure. Islamic agricultural insurance systems can guarantee risks that arise in agricultural businesses to provide inner peace to farmers in getting the good and right protection for businesses that run following Islamic principles. This research has resulted in innovative features and development models of Islamic agricultural insurance for the Protection and Empowerment of Farmers in Indonesia.

What Drives Memorable Rural Tourism Experience: Evidence from Indonesian Travelers

This study aimed to examine the effect of Arousal on Memorable rural Tourism Experiences and social media trip sharing experiences that can moderate memorable rural tourism experiences and tourist behavioral intention. This research is quantitative research with SEM-PLS software. The technique of data collection is done by the survey method. The instrument for data collection is in the form of a questionnaire distributed online to 470 tourists who have visited tourist villages in Indonesia at least once a year. The results showed that all hypotheses could be accepted. The arousal variable significantly and positively affects the Memorable Tourism Experience. Authenticity, Entertainment, and Escapism variables significantly and positively affect Arousal. Memorable rural tourism experience variables significantly and positively affect Tourist Behavioral Intention, memorable rural tourism experience, and behavioral intention moderated by social media trip sharing experiences. The results of the study have implications for consideration for increasing sustainable tourism. As for the planning and development strategy of the domestic tourism industry, we can create sensational experiences and introduce sustainable travel themes to stimulate the desire for in-depth travel and to live in tourist destinations.

What Driving Gross Domestic Product of Agriculture? Lessons from Indonesia (2014-2021)

Developing markets such as Indonesia are now concentrating open agriculture, which is actualized in the share of global agro-industry. At the same time, the existence of dependence on agricultural products between one nation and another, is articulated as an opportunity and a competitive advantage. This paper evaluating the factors driving the GDP of agriculture in Indonesia. Data duration is 2014-2021. The construction of the analysis is framed by linear regression. It was found that employment in agriculture, precipitation, arable land, crop production, food production, livestock production, and fertilizer have a simultaneous impact on GDP of agriculture. Then, employment in agriculture, precipitation, food production, livestock production, and fertilizer have a partial impact on the GDP of Agriculture. Unfortunately, arable land and crop production do not have a partial impact on the GDP of Agriculture. Long-term prospects consider dimensions that are not influential to be developed holistically. Another point is also considering the GDP of agriculture in a more competitive exploration. Weaknesses of this scientific paper are highlighted for academic contributions and practical compilations. In the future, limitations on data extraction can be developed. Furthermore, practical policy elaboration as the primary key in agricultural institutions, strengthening farmer innovation, and protecting agricultural land from the threat of increasingly extreme temperature depletion and massive settlement development.
