Sustainable Transformation of Energy Matrix

Abstract: Geographic Information System for Sustainable Energy Development (SIGDES). It is the system which contains geo-referenced data that leads to the knowledge about several potentials of renewable energy sources in the province of Manabí. The objective of providing this information is proposed in a system that promotes the educational research and projects for business development with a territorial vision of sustainability that can make possible the change of energy matrix. The system allows the user to use the i… Show more

“…As we can see, developed foreign legal orders have a diverse rich experience for effective legal regulation on using alternative (renewable) energy sources, ensuring the balance of interests between energy producers and climate protection. The countries participating in the CIS treaty do not lag behind in this regard (Perez et al, 2017;Gamez et al, 2016). The main emphasis in countries throughout the post-Soviet space is placed on the use of traditional sources of electricity and heat.…”

“…As RM10,000 increase in total operation cost is associated with 8.1kWh increase in capacity installed. Finally, the total operation cost is the most dominant factor in determining the NEM installation capacity as compared to total equipment cost and total installation cost (Marques et al, 2019;Sergici et al, 2019;Gamez et al, 2016).…”

“…Pollution in systems that generate energy affects the atmosphere, soil, and water due to the impregnation, in these, of particles or products that affect human health, quality of life or the natural functioning of ecosystems, it can be controlled to an acceptable level only, if economic costs are not considered; However, economics is a very important factor in life, there are cases in which pollutants persist, however, the efforts made to eliminate them are great, but when an environmental culture is created in people who are linked to these generation processes, these costs decrease, having the clear awareness that "it is better to avoid than to decontaminate." (González et al, 2008;Gamez et al, 2016). Monier, YPR, Feijoo, RV, Alvarez, KGG, & Betancourt, MP (2019).…”
