This article attempts to increase an understanding of technology entrepreneurship phenomenon by presenting state-of-the-art work by scholars. We aimed to map the technology entrepreneurship science using bibliometrics technique. We start with analysis of popularity of the field of technology entrepreneurship as a science. Then, we conduct research by years, journals and citations. Next, we analyze the main themes of technology entrepreneurship. Our findings suggest that there are only three fields of sciences that focus on the area of technology entrepreneurship. Finally we present 8 themes of researchers" interest in the period 1986-2014 and the common trends in "technology entrepreneurship" research.

Μεγάλο μέρος του χρόνου μας αναλώνεται στο χώρο εργασίας με πολλές από τις επαγγελματικές μας δραστηριότητες να έχουν επιπτώσεις στο περιβάλλον. Είναι επομένως αναγκαία η υιοθέτηση περιβαλλοντικά υπεύθυνης επαγγελματικής συμπεριφοράς (ΠΥΕΣ), για την αντιμετώπιση ζητημάτων που αφορούν το περιβάλλον και την αειφόρο ανάπτυξη. Η υιοθέτηση ΠΥΕΣ δεν εξαρτάται μόνο από την περιβαλλοντικά υπεύθυνη συμπεριφορά (ΠΥΣ) των ατόμων αλλά και από τις συνθήκες στο χώρο εργασίας, σε επίπεδο εταιρικής πολιτικής και ενδο-εταιρικής κουλτούρας. Συνεπώς, επηρεάζεται από σειρά παραγόντων που την ενθαρρύνουν ή την εμποδίζουν, οι οποίοι ρυθμίζονται από τη Διοίκηση μιας εταιρίας. Η παρούσα εργασία μελετά τις αντιλήψεις εργοδοτουμένων σε πράσινους χώρους εργασίας [και μη] και διευθυντικών στελεχών, γύρω από τους παράγοντες και το ρόλο των διευθυντών στην ενίσχυση της ΠΥΕΣ στο χώρο εργασίας. Τα αποτελέσματα καταδεικνύουν ότι η σημασία του ρόλου της διεύθυνσης εντοπίζεται στο παράδειγμα που αυτή θέτει, στο εργασιακό κλίμα που δημιουργεί, στην ενσωμάτωση φιλοπεριβαλλοντικών πρακτικών, στις διαδικασίες και τα πρωτόκολλα εργασίας, την παροχή κινήτρων, καθώς και τη σημασία που αυτή αποδίδει στην εκπαίδευση σε θέματα περιβάλλοντος και αειφορίας στα πλαίσια της επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης-κατάρτισης. Οι ερευνητές συζητούν τα αποτελέσματα και προτείνουν μέτρα καλής πρακτικής για την γεφύρωση της απόστασης μεταξύ της πρόθεσης και της εκδήλωσης ΠΥΕΣ.

Can Culture Stimulate Innovation for Technopreneurship? A Grounded Theory Method

Among factors influencing and shaping innovation in different societies is the prevailing culture. Most forms of individualistic cultures affect innovation significantly and positively. key factors that influence innovation among early-stage startups are government interventions, innovation policy and financing. This study has three key objectives. The first is to examine how culture influences innovation among technology startups in Malaysia. The second objective is to explore factors associated with technology innovation. The third objective is to assess how innovation influence financing for technology startups. The study employs grounded theory as the main methodological approach to analyze primary data. A qualitative survey carried out a series of semi-structured interviews with technology entrepreneurs[1], relevant government agencies, industry associations, venture capitalists and leading accelerators. The study finds that culture can be an impediment to innovation. Factors such as collective culture and herd mentality behavior were identified as barriers to innovation and fear of failure was attributed to low entrepreneurial innovation. Entrepreneurial attitude, on the other hand, was identified as a significant quality that is positively related to innovation among technology startups. Data analysis reveals that technopreneurs who display a positive attitude, determination, perseverance and self-efficacy are more likely to display some form of innovation in their startup. These technopreneurs were more likely to be financed by venture capital funds and private or angel investors. Other factors that influence innovation are, the capacity to commercialize, overall entrepreneurship culture, incubators facilities and capabilities and market size. Based on the findings, the study offers a proposed framework that encapsulates elements, factors and components that affect innovation.
