Sustainable Synthesis of Epoxides from Halohydrin Cyclization by Composite Solid-Based Catalysts

Abstract: A facile synthesis of CaO- and MgO-based composite solid-based catalysts is demonstrated for a sustainable synthesis of epoxides from halohydrin cyclization (i.e., via heterogeneous catalysis).
