This article discusses the role of fiqh knowledge in managing the muamalah process, including in the context of buying and selling. The business in the field of wooden furniture is really hot because this business is very promising and produces large profits. Especially in Bengkalis Regency, an area that is an island in Riau Province. Even though this area is small, it has a lot of natural wealth. For example, mining for oil, palm oil, and furniture materials, namely quality trees and wood to be used in making houses and other furniture materials. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using library research. In practice, not many furniture business processes apply Islamic principles in running the business. For example, illegal logging of forests is carried out, the impact of which is detrimental to residents. In fact, in Islam itself, all businesses carried out are prohibited from destroying the environment and harming other people for the sake of personal interests and some groups. For this reason, this research was carried out to analyze and review the extent of the wooden furniture business practices in Bengkalis based on Islamic fiqh, both the implementation and transactions of the furniture business carried out.

The competitiveness of the laminated flooring industry was assessed in Iran. The statistical population was 200 persons, calculated using the stratified random method and the Cochran formula. The sample size was 132. After reviewing the literature, a conceptual model derived from the theoretical framework was presented. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. Content validity and confirmatory factor analysis were used to determine the validity of the questionnaire. Its reliability was calculated and confirmed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The results were processed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed a significant relationship between factors affecting perceived value, environmental and intra-organizational factors, and competitiveness in the laminated flooring industry. The evaluation of the quality of the model showed that the factors affecting the perceived value (strong effect = 0.632) and intra-organizational factors and environmental factors (moderate effect = 0.211 and 0.171) that were calculated, respectively, had the greatest effect on competitiveness. Moreover, these independent variables allocated 91.6% of competitiveness variations as the dependent variable.

The formation of raw material supply chains is very closely related to production problems at a timber processing plant. Since the beginning of the second industrial revolution, one urgent question has been the formation of supply chains for raw materials and the optimal calculation of production volumes for each individual day. This article examines a forestry enterprise that does not have its own sources of wood, which daily solves the problem of ensuring the supply of raw materials and optimal production load. A commodity exchange is considered as a source of raw materials where lots randomly appear every day in different raw material regions. In the scientific literature, there are many approaches to calculating the optimal profit value over the entire planning horizon, but they do not consider many features that are important for a timber processing enterprise. This paper presents a mathematical model which is a mechanism for making daily decisions over the entire planning horizon and differs in that it allows one to take into account the share of useful volume and the delivery time of raw materials under conditions of uncertainty. The result of the model is the optimal profit trajectory, considering the volume of raw materials, the delivery time of lots, the volume of profit and the production volume of goods. The model was tested on data from the Russian Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange and one of the Primorsky Territory enterprises. Analysis of the results showed that there are difficulties in planning supply chains and production volumes. An assessment of the optimality of raw material regions was carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of the mathematical model are formulated.
