Abstract:The modern chemistry has the main focus of saving resources
and
developing synthetic strategies characterized by intrinsic efficiency,
ease and safety in operation, short reaction time, reduced energy,
and waste. Natural polysaccharides are largely distributed in plant/animal
cells; in other words, they are often provided by renewable sources.
This characteristic makes them suitable compounds to be investigated
for their employment as biodegradable material. In addition, natural
polysaccharides have been prove… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
