Abstract:Sandy soil formations are widespread around the globe, particularly in the Arabian Peninsula. The Sandy formations were created as a result of long-term geological activities including but not limited to alluvial and wind deposition. Since the alluvial deposits contain fine soils, the clay layers are often intercepted in the foundation supporting strata.
