“…In documented fatal poisonings with clozapine, according to various investigators, the blood of the victims showed the concentrations as ranging between 1.2 and 13 mg/l [22,23]. Whole blood clozapine concentrations associated with acute toxicity in man are usually above 2 mg/l [21]. Flanagan et al determined the range of blood concentrations of clozapine as 3.7-12 mg/l, n = 7, and for norclozapine as 1.4-2.4, n = 6, with the range of clozapine to norclozapine concentration ratio of 1.4-2.4.…”
