Abstract: Semantinis saitynas ir ypač Atvirų duomenų sieties iniciatyva skatina institucijas skelbti savo duomenis, jais keistis ir juos susieti. Tai atveria plačias galimybes bibliotekoms – jos gali papildyti savo duomenis, susiedamas juos su kitais, išoriniais duomenų šaltiniais. Šiame straipsnyje išsamiai aptariama pirmą kartą Vokietijos nacionalinės bibliotekos teikiama susietų atvirų duo­menų paslauga.
