SusHi: A program for the calculation of Higgs production in gluon fusion and bottom-quark annihilation in the Standard Model and the MSSM

Abstract: This article describes the code SusHi (for "Supersymmetric Higgs") [1] which calculates the cross sections pp/pp → φ + X in gluon fusion and bottom-quark annihilation in the SM and the MSSM, where φ is any of the neutral Higgs bosons within these models. Apart from inclusive cross sections up to NNLO QCD, differential cross sections with respect to the Higgs transverse momentum p T and (pseudo-)rapidity y(η) can be calculated through NLO QCD. In the case of gluon fusion, SusHi contains NLO QCD contributions fr… Show more

“…After rescaling by the couplings, the predictions agree with those obtained using the SUSHI 1.1.1 [70] and 2HDMC 1.5.1 [71] programs, which calculate Higgs boson production and decay rates respectively in two-Higgs-doublet models. The rescaled gluon fusion (ggF) rate agrees with the SUSHI prediction to better than a percent, and the rescaled decay rates show a similar level of agreement.…”

“…The cross sections for ggF and bbh associated production in the five-flavour scheme hMSSM model have been calculated with SUSHI 1.5.0 [70]. The calculation for ggF includes the complete massive top and bottom loop corrections at next-to-leading-order (NLO) QCD [93], the top quark loop corrections in the heavy-quark limit of QCD at nextto-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) [94][95][96], and EW loop corrections due to light quarks up to NLO [97,98].…”

“…This program includes the state-of-the-art higher order QCD corrections and off-shell decays. The Higgs production cross sections through gluon fusion and b-quark fusion at the LHC have been obtained at NNLO QCD from an interface with SusHi [100,101] and normalised to the corresponding SM value at NNLO QCD. The cross section ratio for associated production with a heavy quark pair has been taken at LO.…”

“…The current upper limit on σ(gga) × BR(a → τ τ ) from the 13 TeV CMS search with 2.3 fb −1 of data [65] is about 40 pb for the mass close to 100 GeV with the limit improving rather quickly for masses above JHEP02 (2017) Table 3. Branching ratios and gluon-fusion production cross-sections (calculated with SuShi 1.6.0 [56,57]) for non-SM-like Higgs bosons for benchmark points presented in tables 1 and 2. Thermal relic abundance Ω th h 2 of the LSP and SI LSP-proton scattering cross-section σ p SI are also given.…”
